I received a set of tickets to see Red Green for father’s day! I remember Red Green from years ago. He’s the Canadian Comedian, Steve Smith (he’s 71 in 2016), that fixes things with duck tape and offers sage advice. Advice like “If you’re over 50, learn to duck, you no longer have the option to run”. Speaking of 50… you could get the FULL collection of the Red Green TV shows in a box… a GIANT box of 50 DVD’s.

Here’s some clips of the show if you don’t remember them yourself or want some nostalgia:

Luckily I had access to a copy of the Possum-opoly board game (Monopoly knock-off). I took the instruction book with me and had him autograph it! I also got a picture with him. He has a signing & photo opportunity at all the smaller shows I believe, so I didn’t have to “work hard” to get an autograph. 🙂

There’s a 20 minute intermission in the show, which allowed me an opportunity to speak with a nice fellow who has been doing/running tours for 37 years! He’s somewhat of a tour director, his name is Brian. In fact, he had been touring with Stomping Tom Connors.

The show was good, a little shorter than I would have liked but beggars can’t be choosers right? Would I recommend it? Yes, I would.
